I think Russell M. Nelson and his family are amazing!!! But I had a hard time reading this because of the author. There were a lot of absolutes of "always" and "never" It just didn't feel right and if I was as amazing as he is, I wouldn't someone to write it in this way. It could have felt more real. But I loved learning about his life. :)
My husband has read dozens of General Authority biographies. I've never seen him enjoy one as thoroughly as he did this one. He said his appreciation for an already revered man more than tripled as he learned about the preparation, hard work, and genius behind the scenes.
I loved reading this book. Spencer Condie does a great job of writing. When I started reading, I didn't want to put the book down. Reading this book made me realize even more what a remarkable man Russell M Nelson is. You truly get a great insight into his life and the quality and fabric of this great man.
I enjoyed reading this biography very much. Russell M. Nelson has done so much in his life to help others and be a good Christian. It was a very thought-provoking book. It made me want to be a better person.
This was a great read! I enjoyed reading about how President Nelson was prepared for the leadership roles in the church.
Loved this biography of brother Nelson. Makes him seem human and very approachable.
Excellent book to read and ponder over the many times he was led by the spirit.
