Copy right is 2011 so info like reimbursement is outdated. Much of the information is common sense and a waste of the reader's time. (Statements like, "Practitioners opening their own business will be influenced by their financial situation and tolerance of risk." are a prime example of common sense text I didn't need to spend time on. ) Often too wordy. It is easy to read, but the material is dry. The book is a large, heavy paperback and after light use is falling apart at the binding. Finally, this book, like all textbooks, is overpriced. What publishers charge for textbooks is a crime when you consider you can get a best selling novel written by an award winning author for a fraction of the cost.

Many more chapters than the 4th edition and the chapters relate the content to occupational therapy well. A manageable read.

informative book

I had to buy this book for class and only used a couple of the chapters. The text was an easy read which was a bonus.
