Excellent book to get you through the drudgery of documentation. Easy to understand and great examples of what to write in your clinical documentation.Recommended!

This book is not what I expected in regards to documentation; this is not to say the book does not provide quality information in an organized manner; it does. The focus is more in depth for assessment, planning, and discharge. I was looking for a book that focused on daily note documentation and how to precisely document interventions such as therapeutic activities, therapeutic exercises, and other common occupational therapy interventions. I will continue my search; if any one can recommend an excellent resource for daily note documentations, I would greatly appreciate it.

This is an excellent book and highly recommend this to OTAS. This make everything come together in a simple easy to read format. GOOD READ!!!!

I acutally like this more for reading the books summary of AOTA Framework and the OT Models which were really confusing and dreary to learn about in class. This book summed it up where I could see the framwork and models application in the OT world and how it fits into documention. The SOAP note section is brief so I ended up buying the OT SOAP not book as well. The goal setting in this book was also useful to me.

Honestly This is not my favorite help for documenting. It is a good book and well written but just doesn't click with the way I learn. I thinlk the better purchase is Documentation Manual for Occupational Therapy: Writing SOAP Notes. I am on clinicals and the COTA teaching me has me doing notes the old fashioned way. So they are difficult to get the way the clinic wants it done. This may work for some- just not the best choice for me.

This book talks about the importance of accurate documentation yet is full of typos.

Book as described, just a bent cover but that was expected. Great for learning documentation in OT

Thanks !! I am a beginner in OT , I find this book essentially useful, complete and well-organized.. and the argument of documenting isn't an easy one to manage, Great Job ! Fabiola
