Just passed my COTA exam using this and 3 other study guides.. By far, this was the most comprehensive because of the review portion and also has more sample questions than others I have seen. The sample questions resembled test items more accurately than the other guides as well, although there were some inconsistencies between information in the book and what was in my current OT textbooks.
This book is in outline format and is easy to read. It highlights key areas and diagnoses of OT. The practice exam are helpful and when it grades the exam it tells you what areas you need to study more. I am glad I finally purchased this book.
This book was extremely informative and provided a general overview of the concepts included in the NBCOT exam. I would highly recommend this book to any cota student preparing to be an entry level cota.
Great review book but, I do not recommend this as your "go to" study guide because the amount of information this book contains can be overwhelming....I recommend using this book as a reference.
Studied this book for two months before I took my exam and passed on the first attempt. Gives you everything you need to know specifically for the exam. Great review for anyone.
I passed the test no problem. This book was my study guide and really helped me gain confidence and ultimately pass my COTA exam and become certified my first time. Only had to take test once. I would recommend it as an additional study guide with many test you can take before you schedule your exam.
The book was intact, I was pleased with purchase. The problem I had, their was supposed to be a cdrom. When I received the purchase , the cdRom was not.found , in the place of it was a letter. I really anticipated for the cd, for more practice and review.
Best book for someone who had been out of the field for a while. I am hoping to attend the seminar in November
