A big book with little information. Some spelling and grammatical errors Some of the illustrations very dark. A disappointment in parts
Ted Eger has put together a brilliant history on the topic of anesthesia . . . having chosen some of the most remarkable and notable practitioners in this specialty to participate with their essays.. . . he has woven a rich and vibrant dialogue.Reads like a novel . . . flowing from one subject to the next . . . while leading us through the entire history of this fascinating subject.Book layout is superb! Easy to access and delve into a specific aspect . . . or take a broad overview.Indexing is well done: able to locate related issues quickly. Makes reading science a very enjoyable experience.Colleagues of mine have had a similar positive reaction to this book. Highly Recommend.
