didn't use it too much.. i feel like I never had time between reading the book & taking notes, studying my power points, and practicing questions.. If you think you have the time its a great director of focus but I would buy the clinical handbook or a practice book with the $ - Gave it 5 stars bc the study guide itself is very helpful if you do use it.
I bought the study guide to help me with studying along with the textbook and I rarely used the study guide.. It is good to follow-up with when learning the lesson but I got all I needed by just reading and studying the textbook..It was a waste of money for me to buy this study guide.
I purchased this or my med-surg class to go along with the matching textbook. I used it for the first few chapters and then quit using it. I just found than studying in other ways was more helpful for me and this study guide was not that beneficial for me.
Easy read, just LOONNNG winded... I rather just read a condensed ATI book and get the same results..... But, teachers LOVE pulling questions from this thing, so you have to buy it, so you can answer questions pertaining to specific lines in the text if they use the test bank associated.
WHILE I FOUND THIS BOOK TO BE SOME WHAT HELPFUL, I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED TO FIND THAT THE NCLEX STYLE QUESTIONS AT THE END OF EACH CHAPTER HAD NO!!!RATIONALES.. THAT'S CRAZY... WHEN YOU'RE PREPARING TO TAKE THE NCLEX THE RATIONALES ARE OF THE ESSENCE.......
I bought this book used. It somewhat helped me for my tests. I liked how the answers & rationales were on the spot unlike the previous edition. Nevertheless, I gave 3-star because there were missing pages of the key answers in the back of the book, which was hard for me to prepare for test of that specific topics.
Arrived on time, in new condition. The only downside is the book is no longer available in e-book for free with the purchase and code must be repurchased from a different site. Otherwise a very good text book.
This book helps me to retain the information that was presented in the lecture.Going through the NCLEX style Questions enables me to pick the correct answers.It is for me a very good booster.Help to improve my grades.I made a good investment.
