I don't study in these terms. This was a good book to study using case studies, though, if you were going to do it. It was helpful in thinking through how different processes can effect people in different ways. It was really helpful for some of the more complex concepts but I didn't start using it until near the end of nursing school because my teacher made me. I wish I had used it more. It is one of those things that you don't use every time for everything but as a supplement to things that really confuse you. I would recommend it, though.

Case scenarios are great. Wished there were suggestions in the text to answer them without having to do the research, but that would defeat the purpose. Overall a great resource for developing critical thinking skills in nurses. Facilitates preparation of nursing lectures and guides class discussions.

Answers are not in the book. i was disappointed that I could not compare my answers with the book.

Nothing bad to say. Arrived in a timely manner with no issues. I use this book for my Med Surg course and it was definitely worth the purchase! It helps take what we're learning and turn it into a real situation.

The book is good but there are not answers to guide you

I wish there was a section in the back that provided answer justifications otherwise this is a good tool to have for nursing school.

Cases are too simple for my critical care staff. But I can add and make them more complex. I do like the format of the book.
