I needed to buy this book as a requirement in Nursing School. I needed it to do weekly homework assignments. I liked this book because it really helps grasp the concept of medical terms especially when you do not have much experience such as myself. The only way I was successful with this book is by reading the Nursing Fundamentals book otherwise I may have not been able to fill it out. I made it only half way through the book because we no longer needed the book. I recommend this book to anyone who needs this for school, to help with critical thinking or to help with medical concepts.
This is a poorly written book. It's the worst textbook I've used in college. Many of the questions are unclear, and they require you to repeat the same answer more than once. The answers they provide in the book, according to the professor, are far off from the real world and an appropriate answer over all. I hope one would only purchase this book as a requirement, and not as a study tool.
The answers to the questions are NOT provided. There is no way to check if you selected the right answer.The online section has a test review for NCLEX, however when you submit your answers you are NOT shown your results. Rather it states--Pending manual grades
Great workbook to review specific concepts. Love it when combined with Kozier and Erb's Fundamentals and Gidden's book. Great for nursing students.
It's bring new, very helpful and they are in good shape just like describe in the picture. Shipment was faster than I was expecting. I ordered on Friday night and got some of my books on a SUNDAY. Are you kidding? what company deliver merchandises on a Sunday? Absolutely RECOMMANDING IT.
Didn't really find this book helpful. I had to purchase it for nursing school and that's pretty much the ONLY reason I got it...
Required reading for Nursing school, I can see why it helps with "What to do first questions"
