this book although not very long certainly makes up for it in detail and information. I couldn't do without it through my Naturopathy studies and even now in practice, I can refer to it on a daily basis.
This is a great short but adequately detailed intro to the real science of iridology and why it works and examples of how it was discovered and developed by studying real changes in the eyes corresponding to positive and negative health changes. Very useful for the beginner or anyone wanting to know briefly what it's all about and based on and how to do some basic iris readings on yourself and others. It could get you interested in buying some more detailed books for sure. Jensen is the Master.
I had hoped it was more of a book printing than a brochure... and didn't see that it was presented to be anything but a book. Not so. However it has a lot of information in it for the few pages that it contains. I'm not unhappy with it, but a bit disappointed.
As a 'Starters' book it is enough to whet your appetite and get you going on the main details of the Eye. Iridology studies the SOFT TISSUE of the Pupil and Iris of a person, which can detail exactly what is 'awry' in the human body. EVERYONE should learn this and treat themselves accordingly with the correct fruit and herbs. The idea to look in to this, for me, came from Dr Robert Morse, a most EXCELLENT Naturopath, who was very good friends with Bernard Jensen. This book is more like a brochure - so the pictures were somewhat disappointing (for me), but as a book to simply start off, it was great. I would always recommend Bernard Jensen's work and this will get you started. However, if you want precise and clear diagrams of the parts of the eye, you need to spend more and find a more comprehensive BOOK on the subject. My eyesight just couldn't deal with the small print in some areas. A good beginners guide though.
This book is a great introduction into iridology.I chose to purchase this book because it was a newer one on the market and I was hoping to gather more updated information on iridology. This book briefly touches on a variety of information on the subject of iridology and at 38ish pages that is all that you can get. I love the pages of the book themselves that have a nice glossy finish to them and the photographs were in color. It was very nicely done. I actually purchased two books, one for me and one to share.
Although it is the same content as a print book, on the eReader, the charts and illustrations are simply too small to be useful. It does NOT allow you to click on a chart or graph to enlarge it - it is a fixed image with extremely small print. Enlarging the text doesn't affect the illustrations. It is simply not suited for ebook reading.
I love this book for beginners. My copy was falling apart and I was so glad to be able to replace it. I trained under Bernard Jensen and he is the best.
