I got this book for a class, and I have to say this book is vague and confusingly written as an introduction to the material. It seems to go on random tangents and bring in topics without enough background to find them useful. It's a long book, and it covers a lot of good material, but you have to wade through a lot of only fair to middling coverage to get there
This book has only the most basic information and in a poorly organized format. Nothing makes sense about the way this is written and it leaves you with little more knowledge than you started with.
