Essentials Of Environmental Science

At just 15 chapters, Essentials of Environmental Science is ideal for a one-semester course. It takes the same non-biased approach as its parent text, teaching students to think critically about data presented. In addition to being briefer, Essentials is even more accessible placing less emphasize on math calculations. The coverage of ecology, agriculture, energy, and water has also been streamlined to provide a more focused treatment of the science concepts.

Exactly like at the university but for a lot less.

Excellent

Exactly what I needed for a fraction of the cost

the book is for college.

Thank you. Product's as described and arrived on time.

My son needed this for shool so I bought it so I have to give it 5 stars. What else can I say.

I am very satisfied with this product; it is as advertised. I would recommend this for anyone looking for an item like this. The purchase was a smooth transaction and delivery.

I ended up reading every chapter from start to finish (rare for me). The writing is very straightforward, explanations of concepts are easy to follow. A few graphs were difficult to read correctly (at least one portrayed information in a way that was misleading), but the diagrams and charts were very informative. At the beginning and end of each chapter, there are modern, real-life applications of the concepts and stories to help illustrate why the chapter's broad strokes are truly relevant and important to understand. My professor found a few things that she thought the book misrepresented. Still, a really good book for an introductory or survey course.
