TECH PACKFinally! If you are looking for a book that teaches you how to actually create a tech pack buy this one. I've purchased what seems to be a library of books that tell you everything about fashion except how to build the designs that really matter. Technical Designs (TECH PACK) or (SPECS) are necessary for every garment produced from underwear to outerwear. Whether you design for Walmart or Macy's. Save your money on Fashion Design School and simply buy this book. Most fashion production is outsourced to foreign countries. The fashion is designed here in the US but the garments are made in developing countries where people often speak a different language. The TECH PACK is necessary to communicate the details of each garment. This book superbly explains the entire process and begins teaching how to do a TECH PACK in chapter 3. This wonderful resource even teaches how to specify folding the garment, hang tagging, and bagging the garment. It's a must have.

Finally got a copy of this in my hands again... Was so elated to see my design teacher @the Wood-tobe Coburn school give it a review...couldn't come from someone more proficient in technical design...its definitely a must have text for any designer...from student to Pro ..you learn something and you get a chance to relearn each time you Open this book

This book is extremely detailed and has helped me so much with tech packs in multiple classes in school.

Great book. I feel like I'm in school. Very helpful and easy to understand.
