While the first few chapters were somewhat a "slow" read, the majority of the following chapters were easy to understand and were interesting. This book was a required text for a hospitality class I took in college. I was leery at first because the title "Human Resources" sounded daunting. This book was just the opposite and explained several cases in easy-to-understand detail. I would recommend this book.
It says it comes with an answer sheet but it doesn't. Other than that the book is actually in hood condition, some parts are highlighted which doesn't bother me. The book is easy to follow along without an answer sheet but still.
I have to use this book for class as my text book, i rented it as a e-book and planned to use it on my laptop which is a pc with windows 8 and it is not allowing to open the book. Hope you can work out the kinks for any one else wanting to use it on a windows 8 laptop.
Fast Shipping. Interesting Book. Learned alot and by AH&LA. Was a required class textbook and was not boring information like it first looked life it would've been.
This book has been very helpful in my Spa and Hospitality Management course. It is well written with good examples to help understand the material.
I need the book but don't like the class. Ugh. I am just not a fan of HR. If you like HR, you will enjoy this book. If you don't, well....
it's for class lots of information, lots of case studies and examples. I believe it will serve me well for this class.
