This will become a "must read" book on ventriloquism, whether you're just starting out or a working pro. Al Stevens has assembled a great instructional book on all the facets of ventriloquism. For all the questions you might have on this profession, Al deals with the issue. It's straight to the point, and laced with stories and examples. And Al's good wit is peppered throughout. This reviewer is a newbie to ventriloquism---about two years into this hobby--and I just wished that I'd started with this book versus the others I have bought. Give this book a good read; it will not disappoint!
Well written and contains both very useful and interesting information. Recommended for the beginner or some wanting an intro to the subject.

Entertaining and informative, I have read it once through and now re-reading specific parts of interest. Contains a lot of info that is not necessarily new, but is written in such a way to cause you to stop and think. My personal ventriloquism has improved as result of reading this and I believe yours will too no matter if you are a novice or Pro!
