I really enjoyed this book and have only begun to skim the surface....the authors are immeshed in this world and are letting us peek under the curtain of history...very nice and generous selections of photos throughout the ages...nice book to savor when one has the time....
The book is hugh and its content enormous. Just beginning to read it and absorb this hidden gem and its weight is something to behold
