I have taken over 200 hours of implant continuing education. If someone had recommended this book my learning experience would have far exceeded the otherwise great education I recieved. This book is very comprehensive, well organized and covers just about every aspect of implant dentistry in great detail.

This book is akin to the Bible of implant dentistry. It is very comprehensive and enlightening yet easy to read as a text book or a reference source. Suitable for novice or experienced implantologist who consistently look for optimum and predictable results in their treatment to patients.I regard the book as one of the most valued book in my personal collections.

As a published oral surgeon who performs very complex implant surgery and grafting surgery I consider this text a very good synopsis of implantology. I mention this text to doctors during my presentations at national meetings. Dr steven Sudbrink Dmd Sudbrink oral surgery

This book provides a lot of information for general dentist who does not have dental implant training at school during their time .With other hands on training individual dentist would be able to gain more confidence in this field of dentistry.

Very detailed book. There are about 150 academic references for each of the 50 or so chapters. Great pictures and graphics. If you are looking to place implants, this is your bible. I am a 4th year dental student and have learned so much from reading just 20 chapters. I recommend it to all my classmates and faculty.Geoff

As an homage to Dr. Misch and his love of creating classifications, I am going to give this book a Class 5 on the DrSam scale of textbook ratings. It is a great book, and Dr. Misch et al. are amazingly talented and respected. It does seem, however, at times he is pushing his own classifications a little heavily. I'm not sure if this is due to a lack of available classifications or a desire to be remembered in implant history. In any case I find myself skipping over a few of the repackaged Misch classifications.I haven't been to any of his lectures yet, but I'm hoping to sometime in 2015.

Excellent info. I used this book to reinforce my foundation in implant dentistry and can use this knowledge to improve my patient's care.

to all you guys out here, be it beginners on implants or been a while on implants this book is a very good source of information on everything you wanted to know on implants. Like they all say, "it's the bible of implantology" thank you to the editors of this book for covering EVERYTHING!
