Stan Gibilisco's Geometry Demystified, 2nd Edition has been released, and I must say this book is superb. My friends and I, taking Plain Geometry in high school, sat through interminable geometric proofs that complicated the subject without contributing anything substantial. Stan has eliminated this excess material in favor of clear presentations of actual geometric structures. His method has made it much easier to comprehend the subject, cutting the learning time down considerably. His chapter on Hyperspace and Warped Space got my attention, especially the discussion of black holes. Altogether a fascinating treatment, I recomend it highly for all readers.

Based on the usefulness of Algebra DeMYSTiFieD, I purchased this on Kindle to work as a supplementary resource for my son, who is taking high school honors geometry. Much to our disappointment, the Kindle version of the book proved useless as a resource due to our inability to locate content using the index in the rear of the book. Since the index is not keyed in to specific locations in the Kindle work (not even so much as a chapter indicator), you have to browse the table of contents, find the proper section and then flip through the chapter until you've located what you're looking for. If you're not entirely sure what that is, you're out of luck.I returned the book.We may order this in paper, but I'm not sure; even flipping through the appropriate chapter, we found no guidance for the material he was working on. The presentation does not seem to be quite as usable as supplemental material as our first purchase was. We will likely be comparing several books before deciding.
I am going into 9th grade and needed some pre 9th grafe prep . I dove in . I guess it is essential that you already took geometry because this was very difficult for me to understand . I do not recommend this for beginners .

My daughter had difficulties with this book. She spent time looking up U tube videos for clearer explanations or to explain something that the book didn't at all. Two different tutors also didn't seem to recommend the book.
