I purchased this book because it was required for my Anthro class, so my review is base in how helpful it was for me in my class.Base on what I said above, this book is an excellent option if you are trying to get an skim of witchcraft and religion. This books shows you how culturaly witchcraft forms part of society, this book doesnt show any witchcraft techniques, if that is what you areblooking for. Rather it emphasises in the functionality of religion and beliefs around the world. This book is excellent because it touches many religions and how they function in their respecrive societies.

I had this text book (older version) in a college course by the same name in 1967. I had lent the book and it never returned so I decided to purchase this newer version. I am glad that I did as enjoy having this reference. I arrived in a timely manner.

This book is a series of articles focusing on religious practices all over the world. This compilation is so insightlful you will be shocked at what you did NOT know! Great for Anthropologists and Social Scientists of all kinds. I would also recommend social media personel become familiar with this text as it is a great reference guide for many questions regarding culture and religion.

I loved this book. It was so interesting to read. I actually finished my class and then re-read it because I was in a rush for my assignments. Thanks!

Required reading for a class. Very interesting.

Boring book, only needed it for school.

Great condition. It's like a bunch of stories put into 1 book

The books cover was bad. But the rest of the book was good.
