This book is very useful for those already familiar with HIV/AIDS, and for those who want to know. The book does get technical, of course. Immunology is very complicated as-is, and HIV/AIDS is complicated as well with how it attacks the immune system. The book gets some important details out there about how HIV is spread and how it can be contracted, thus clearing up some of the myths of the disease. Therefor the book is useful for medical and biology students as well as the everyday person. It may take a couple reads to understand some of the concepts--it did for me, at least--but the time is worth it.

It was in the condition that was expected, maybe even more so because it felt like the book hasn't been touched.

Excellent book for an overview of the biological and social aspects of HIV/AIDS.

Informative for non-professionals. A good cross-over book.
