Loved this book. In each chapter, you will review concepts from previous chapters while tying them into new concepts. This book has very good flow. Great explanations of clinical examples.Graphics are also very useful. Simple easy to read and remember.

This book is easy to read and has great pictures with description. It is very comprehensive and concise. It covers all the topics you need to know for renal.

I loved reading it because of its clinical outlook. It is very concise and to the point. Recommended for all renal trainees

First off, I would rather throw $43 dollars into a sewer hole than buy this textbook again - at least the former offers some entertainment and bemusement. Being someone who prefers to learn from textbooks over lectures, I have read plenty of books that are poorly written, but this one approaches the limit of how bad a textbook can get. Riddled with unnecessarily complex sentences, poor grammar, and confusing repetitions that aren't even consistent amongst themselves, I wonder how this book can ever come to be conceived. It is almost an insult to the field of nephrology. As I mired through the whole 10 chapters, I kept thinking when it's gonna get better, but more importantly, I kept thinking if the authors were drunk when they wrote this book. Like, c'mon, there's no way the authors proofread this thing for coherence and flow. And oh, by the way, equation 4-2, on page 68 is totally wrong (you can thank me for that). To say that it took me several times to reread a paragraph to understand what the authors want to say is an understatement and should tell you how bad the book is.The only redeeming quality of this textbook are some of the good figures, but that is not enough to compensate for the poorly written text. Sentences are non-sequitur, logic is twisted, and contradictions occur one after another. When my renal exam came, I find myself trying to erase from my memory some of the faulty explanations that I have memorized from the book, and re-learn the material elsewhere. At the beginning, I thought it was just me and I faulted myself for spending exorbitant amount of time reading and understanding each chapter, but I have come to the conclusion that the book is, in fact, at fault. If there's anything that I got out of reading this book, it was that my threshold of pain has been increased by a notch higher. Don't believe me? Spend the 43 dollars and see for yourself.

Amazing board review book for MS1/2

I ordered this book from the "like new" or "good as new" category , not the "brand new" category, so I expected a used book, though still in great condition. What I got looked like a brand new untouched book! The plastic wrap was still on! This seller did a great job of selling me a high quality book at a much better price than I could have gotten it for at the bookstore. It also came right on time if not a couple days early. Loved working with this seller, & overall a great purchase!
