We bought this book for our daughter, Meredith, who is conducting research on our family. Rebecca Kellogg Ashley was the sister of our distant ancestor, who was also taken in the Deerfield raid. Another interesting fact is that the author taught at the same school in Miraleste that my college room mate graduated from in California. Life is full of connections.
