Has all the labs & values in this! Great for a quick glance to what the lab is or what the value should be (policy dictates most values). Great tool to have around. About an inch thick and is spiral bound. I was actually expecting this to be a BOOK instead of spiral bound...but it does the job & is a perfect guide to have handy. Not sure that I would carry it in my pocket (kinda thick), but it explains what the lab is for, what is being measured, and has all the information a nurse (or lab tech) would need.
Perfect to take along to clinicals or just to look over before exams! I love how the book has erasable pages in case you need to make a note some where you can easily erase it later on. This book was a life saver to be able to just quickly pull it out and have the information readily available. I would highly recommend this book to anyone in the nursing program or anyone who is new to the nursing field and not 100% sure of what norms should be.
Great easy to use reference for reviewing in your down-time or when you need to assemble your plan of care. Very concise but at the same time comprehensive enough that I don't find myself scrambling to supplement the information with other texts.
I am a nurse as well as a clinical instructor. I find this book to be most helpful in the clinical setting .The size is perfect for carrying in your scrub pocket for frequent reference.I recommend it to all of my students.
Goes "beyond" what I expected. Includes X-ray and some "non standard" tests. I wish that instead of wasting space with this, they would have use it in going deeper in what a Lab tech-science guy is looking for in a quick study.
It's bring new, very helpful and they are in good shape just like describe in the picture. Shipment was faster than I was expecting. I ordered on Friday night and got some of my books on a SUNDAY. Are you kidding? what company deliver merchandises on a Sunday? Absolutely RECOMMANDING IT
Great product!!! However, its a little bulky to carry around especially when lab values are available on the work system.
Use this every day, good back-up for what you already know. If you can't remember all the lab values, like me. Get this.
