There are a lot of cross references in this book to chapters and tables. Kindle doesn't give you an easy way to find them. I had to go look up a hard copy on , take pictures of the index pages to find out where it's referring to. The contents is great, but it's very inconvenient for me to have to do this. I contacted both and the publisher and they blame each other.

I didn't know what to expect when I bought this honestly. There's detail on historical years of the stock market and helps give an overall view of the monthly gains in each month and throughout history. There's some good tips to take into account.

There is an old British expression, “to be penny wise and pound foolish”. The Almanac would be a good VALUE at $100 or more. It is the single best source of the most valuable publically available stock market information. It is almost “invaluable”! It should be bought by all investors who want to understand what the very best professionals know. Or, better yet: Don’t buy it, and instead let us professionals take your money in the marketplace!

This is a useful calendar type reference book for active traders. It has all scheduled market events such as option expiry dates, witchings, holiday hours, and many other useful historic data. The book is spiral bound so it will stand up to a lot of flipping back and forth through the pages. This is a great resource to check everyday before making investment decisions just in case there is an historic event occurring that you might not have been aware of. Since this is public information, you can be sure the market knows this info and has priced it in, so you should too.

The book is great. I also subscribed to the website which provides some neat tools. Got caught in the oil price skid in December of 2015 but up until then was making good money following their recommendations.

"Historical patterns have a tendency to repeat." That is may have been true in a simpler time. But its not true this year, so far, generally speaking. Nonetheless, I'm holding out hope that since "election years are traditionally up years," 2016 will turn out better than it currently looks.

A must have for an investor with a historical bent. The amount of data packed into a small volume is incredible. An annual purchase for me, wouldn't want to enter a new year without this almanac close by.

And rules of thumb. Get the hard bound edition. I switched to the Kindle Reader this year and it was a mistake. You cannot zoom in to read the daily information on the calendar pages
