I am disappointed with the dearth of coverage in this edition. I checked back to the 2005 PDR, and it had 3,440 pages. This one is only 2,500, and I can't find many of the common medications I used to be able to find. This will be the last edition I purchase for our library.
This is my first book review on , as I believe, as some clinicians will also believe, that this is a comprehensive list of medications and therapeutics; it is not.If you are looking for an updated version of what the PDR used to be, do not buy this book. This PDR's list of common generic drug manufacturers is not complete, even leaving out the largest global generic pharmaceutical company in the world that manufactures roughly 450 generic drugs: Teva Pharmaceuticals.This book is going back to .
There was no product description for the high blood pressure medication I take. The medication is not new. Buyer beware!
Far less drugs listed than the previous versions had to purchase a nurses drug handbook as well
PDR is very helpful. I was able to find my information with no problem at all. Love it.
Very comprehensive....EXTREMELY SMALL PRINT, and paper thin pages. Would have appreciated a review on this.The medical terminology is decipherable only by physicians and pharmacists. Should have ordered a layman's version.
Purchased for scientific data on Xarelto. Cannot find the drug in the new PDR. Either I have forgotten how to find drugs in the PDR or your information is poorly inclusive or not up to date.
