I wasn't expecting much given the low price, but I expected something given the glowing reviews. If you already have the slightest idea of what an index fund is, you already know more than this book will tell you. And it's not really a book, but more of a small pamphlet. After removing the table of contents and introduction, you are left with 15 very, very short pages. A casual search on the internet will provide you with much more useful information about index funds. It claims to be a step-by-step guide - here are the steps they provide:1) Shop around for index funds2) Decide how much you want to invest3) InvestReally? Thanks for that. There's a chapter (3 paragraphs) on Dollar Cost Averaging that explains that it's a good way to invest, but does not explain WHY.I also find it odd that of the six 5-star reviews, none are from verified purchases. How do you even read a Kindle-only book without first purchasing it?

Being from a poor past, I have been on a journey to increase my knowledge about money, financial management, and investments. Index funds seem to be a no brainer for beginners like me. I appreciate the ease and diversity of this fund and the low risks and high potential for profit over time. You can get started with some index funds with just $3000. That’s great. I’ll be looking further into this type of investing in the future.
