Excellent book. The images are clear, sharp and easy to follow with additional images of probe position and annotation. The text is divided into 11 Chapterâs which go over foot and ankle muscles, tendons, ligaments, joints, nerves etc. Additionally, there were very useful Chapters on neovascularization and interventional uses. There is a website with videos that are referenced in the book. The videos have been edited to allow annotation without interfering with the flow of the video. There are several cadaveric videos that demonstrate the function of the lateral collateral ligaments intact and severed. This made all of the ultrasound images and videos of the ankle ligaments crystal-clear. This is the best foot and ankle ultrasound book I have seen thus far.
Excellent book on the use of ultrasound to diagnose and treat conditions of the foot and ankle. Descriptions are supplemented by diagrams and on-line videos. Unlike an MRI, an ultrasound can be performed in minutes and in many cases is more revealing. This book is an essential learning tool and I hope more practitioners will consider adding ultrasound to their practice for the benefit of their patients.
