I bought this book knowing it was loose-leaf, which I thought would be beneficial such that I could take certain chapters with me to class. However, it was a mess when it came to studying and referring to certain sections of the book, papers out of order, etc. So, if you're a student, the money saved is not worth the grief, in my opinion. Get the regular textbook.

I was not aware that it was not a binded book and then all of the perks that come with the text like the cd and workbook was not included.

you will have to buy some software codes to access the assignments in the book.

The book was not as expected. In very poor condition. I will be sending back

Needed the book for a class and I really enjoyed it. I would recommend it!

This text provides the reader with true facts all about HISTORY. i find the history taught in our primary, as well as secondary schools unacceptable. It is time to disgard the lies and tell the truth. My first copy of "Tha history of social welfare..." sparked a flame, that burned thru a path that led me to a degree in US History,w/ a concentration in Native American studies.

A must read for all MSW students

Book was horrible. Good content I suppose, but just bad. Really bad. The teacher isn't even using it anymore.
