I purchased this manual halfway through my physical assessment class because I needed to improve my test grades (it helped!). The manual has a vocabulary review, matching questions and concept questions of important pathophysiology/main concepts described in the correlating book chapter, as well as multiple choice questions. I read the chapters in the actual textbook, then used this guide to quiz myself and ensure that I fully grasped the concepts. The result: I pulled my test score up from a 75 to a 91! The reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is because I wish the multiple choice questions had explanations to go along with the answers. Overall, it's a great tool to utilize along with the book to ensure you understand the content of the book.
This has been helpful for studying. However, be careful. There are a lot of typos and mistakes. Even in the answer keys. If I'm not sure about an answer, I look it up. The benefit is that the information is reinforced in my mind.
This lab manual was required for a class. It has many mistakes and is not consistent with the eighth edition of the textbook. I would not buy this manual if it is not required.
Bought for NP School Very thorough. Like the pictures showing the examination. Will definitely keep for reference book.
I found the use of the study guide very helpful in cementing understanding of each chapter.
