I found this book in a random bookstore browsing session when I was looking for good pediatrics resources, and I'm surprised it isn't more popular. It covers a "typical" patient presentation and work-up for common and classic peds cases - croup, febrile neonates, Kawasaki disease. If you like case-format books, this is great for pimp-proofing before rounds and organizing your thoughts on a new admit; it focuses on how-to's and clinical pearls that your staff will often ask about. Helpful for the transition between theory and practice. Highly recommended for people who like case-based learning.
