This book was recommended to me by someone because the entire book is written by one author, which is a rare quality for a medical textbook. After skimming the book and reading a few of the chapters in-depth, I am very happy with it. Each section gives you all of the information you would want in a concise manner without being too wordy or complicated. The diagrams and pictures are also helpful. As a new Physician Assistant in the field, I often times have to play catch-up on many subjects and this book is perfect as both a quick reference and an in-depth study tool.... I highly recommend it!
