This is a handy desktop reference for my job in toxicology. I am already familiar with the basic principles of health, biology, and toxicology and this reads like a textbook to me, but it is very handy when I want to look up specific information.
Purchased for a basic toxicology class in which the professor explained little. I turned to the textbook the first week and found that it uses many terms that I was not familiar with... not what I expected for a "essentials book". Not recommended for a non-tox major.
This book helps me to parallel my in class teachings with the book and understand Toxicology and the essentials of it
Needed this book for Enviornmental Toxocology class. Great book I actually kept it for a reference. Never know when you want to brush up on this stuff. Would recommend it to others.
Easy to follow as technical reference manual. It shows uses of application and examples calculations with needed logic. So far been impressed.
Excelent book for undergraduation courses. Is more easy to use and portable. I think that is necessary a litle bit of exercises.
As far as textbooks go, this one was one of the best I've ever had to buy. I actually read all my chapters and ENJOYED them!
When I get the book, the caption book is so wet and dirty that the package get worn and like the rubbish used dirty book. I hope to get the refund for that package.
