Let me preface this by saying I'm a resident at an institution where one of the book's editors is a department chairman.I have found this book helpful as a doorway for learning about topics foreign to me in critical care. I'm 20% of the way through the book right now and have found all of the chapters I've read helpful. I would recommend this book to any resident or med student headed toward a career in critical care.
