Book's great but fundamentally flawed as they have not made Excel file available online for those who have bought the Kindle version. Since it is stated in the overview that the CD is available this is essentially false advertizing. Thanks . 3/5 = average of 5/5 (book) and 0/5 (for the package price without CD)
I like this book. I have bought a fee other PF books and this one is written well and easy to read. They however did make a mistake in that stating there is a CD available in the printed edition but you can go to the publishers website and download the excel model. If you have a US computer you will need to run a macro contained in the file to switch from Italian to US (dont know techically why but it does clean it up a bit and removes the #num errors). Besides that issue, its a good book and I recommend it. Its not expensive either. I consider it my favorite PF book.
The whole point of buying this book is to learn about the modeling aspects of project finance, without the excel models, it is like learning to play piano by watching youtube.I will not consider buying any kindle version textbook until has a solution to this.

Very good and inclusive text book! The text is written in a very straightforward way, and key charts and case studies are included to illustrate the various concepts. I am still reading this book, and find it to be a very interesting read that covers all the relevant areas of project finance. -Angela Gallerizzo
This book is a must have for anyone interested in project finance:(1) First, it very well written and it really seems to hear Mr. Gatti in the background when you are reading it;(2) Then, it is a perfect blend of theory and practice: the case studies are really helpful in fixing the ideas and in understanding how Project Finance works in the real world;(3) Last, it is an update edition and it takes into consideration the aspects which are more important in the current distressed economic environment.
This book is wonderfully written in a very systematic manner. I didn't need to buy it for class but I'm glad I did.
