Over all, the information in this text is great, but I expected more along the lines of recipes for diets for pets with specific diseases or for at least more nutritional guidelines for this. Otherwise, easy to read and follow.
The book arrived quickly and in perfect condition. I'm working my way thru several nutrition books and haven't started on this one yet so I can't review the context just yet.
I love it! I had no idea how inadequit commercial cat food is! A must to ready if you are interested in the health of your dogs and cats!
This book was recommended by Cargill of Dog World, who said if you only get one book on dog nutrition, make it this one. I find Cargill to research things well and therefore come up with good recommendations. Author Daniel Carey has been a staff veterinarian at Iams and Purina. Highly recommended.
