I am happy to write a review on the book titled, "Stars So Bright: Book of Constellations (Kiddie Edition) by Speedy Publishing." This is a great little educational reference book for children about the constellations. The book's layout is great for children and easy to follow along with. Each constellation is beautifully illustrated. The illustrations correspond perfectly alongside the storyline on each page to give a beautifully descriptive idea of the appearance of each constellation. Some of the facts about constellations children will learn in this book include:--> How many constellations were officially recognized by The International Astronomical Union?--> Which constellation is commonly represented in the form of a sea goat?--> Which constellation is associated with the twins Castor and Pollux in Greek Mythology?--> Where is Aries located?--> Which constellation's name is Latin for lion?--> Which constellation's name is Latin for crab?--> Which constellation's name is the Latin plural for fish?--> Which constellation's name is Latin for weighing scales?--> Which constellation's name is Latin for "horned goat"?--> Which constellation's symbol is a representation of water?--> Which constellation is located between Capricornus and Pisces?--> Which constellation is represented as a centaur drawing a bow?Children will learn the answers to these questions and more in this educational book about constellations. This is a great educational reference book that would be a great addition to any child's library. I was blessed to have had the opportunity to purchase this book at a discounted price. I am an individual consumer who has written a review after purchasing this book and I am not affiliated with this company in any way at the time of writing this review.

This book is an awesome and informative astrology book for kids. The book has awesome illustrations and also has nice facts to accompany them. The book shows illustrations of constellations and next to each illustration is it's facts. The constellations included in this book are: Aries, Cancer, Taurus, Pisces, Libra, Capricorn, Aquarius, Leo, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Gemini and Virgo. At the beginning of the book it stated that it recognized 88 constellations, so I was hoping the book would contain more, but given that this is a children's book, I understand that just these 12 zodiac based constellations may be enough. An example of one of the facts from the book is that Cancer is one of the twelve constellations of the zodiac. Its name is latin for crab and it is commonly represented as one. Overall, I was pleasantly impressed with this book. This was a really interesting book for our family, and especially for me. We read this book together, with my 8 year old doing the reading. I don't remember learning all the star bits that were included in this book in my childhood. The illustrations were interesting, though in this book, the facts were more impacting. The book format really highlights the images and gives ample time for talking about the pictures. One spread has an image with a couple of sentences, then the next is simply an image. This repeats throughout the book and gives a great format for reading together. I received this book for free in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion.

As a child and throughout my adult life, I have had a love for the stars and constellations so this book seemed like a great fit for me to get for my children. This review will give you my opinion of this book as it is displayed on the Kindle. This book is everything you would think it was from the from cover. It gives you a basic introduction to the stars and the constellations that they make up and show you pictures along the way. You will see all of the major constellations in this book. With each constellation you see in this book, you will learn its name and a brief description of what it means. You will also see a picture of each one as it looks when looking at it from the ground and as it is described. The pictures are not actual photographs of the stars, but they are of a reasonable likeness and has small glowing lines connecting the stars to show what the constellation looks like so you can picture it once you find it in the skies. This book is for children as the cover displays, but any adult should have fun looking through this book with their children as well and will most likely bring you back to your childhood as you do.I would strongly recommend this book to any parent with younger children who may not yet be able to read (they will enjoy the pictures, and you can read the words to them) as well as children who have learned to or are learning to read.I received this product for free in order to review it. This in no way changed my view of the product. All words and opinions within this review are my own and are here to help you decide if this product is right for you.

This book shows night sky like images of a number of constellations. It also tells the meaning of the Latin names for the constellations. Each pair of facing pages gives the verbiage in a sentence or two and the image of the constellation, along with a large all caps name of the constellation near the picture. The Good:* Gives meanings of the Latin names of the constellation. The lack of the overlaid images means that the child looking at the book could draw their interpretation of the image that ancient stargazers "saw" when they looked up into the sky.* It is short, so it is easy to get through with even a smaller child. The bad:* The font is difficult to read. I get that it is supposed to look like handwriting of a small child, but it is too close for easy reading.* While the verbiage explains what the constellation represents, the lack of the overlay drawing makes it hard to see the picture for those who are visual learners.Overall, this book is an overview of the constellations and their names. I had a hard time seeing the understanding it was building. As one of many books about different topics, it is worth having in your collection for future interests.I received the Kindle edition of this book for free in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.
