Different cover, title reworded, but same author name.We keep seeing these so-called "new" color books with usually, but not always, new/different covers, titles rearranged and same, but not always, author name. Please check your other coloring books carefully before buying these new color books.When we buy coloring books in stores we can look inside to see if we like the designs and check for any designs we already have. WHY Not Here On ??
Finally, something besides butterflies and dragonflies! Not that I don’t like those beautiful insects, but there is beauty in many of nature’s insect creations and this book brings them to life. There are plenty of pages of butterflies and moths but there are also spiders and beetles, crickets and grasshoppers. I wish there were more of the unusual and less of the butterflies but this is still a great addition to your coloring collection.I was given this book at no charge in return for an honest review. I received a PDF version of this book at no charge in exchange for my honest review. Another Shutterstock rehashing of pictures found in any number of other coloring books available through . As is common for drawings from this source a number of pictures include excessively heavy black lines and/or areas pre-colored black. I disliked the bug pictures the first, second, third and etc times I have seen them and still dislike the theme. Drawings vary in complexity so the book is suitable for all skill levels.
The book should be titled Butterflies and a few insects. There were 30 butterfly designs, and only 20 designs of other insects. And of the 20, many were repeats that I have seen in other books. This book could have been very appealing for boys if there weren't so many pretty butterfly pictures. The author should have done a book on butterflies, and another on insects, instead of trying to combine them. A book just on creepy crawly insects would have been great. I was given a copy of this book for an honest review.
A lot of repeated designs from another book. The butterflies although repeats are nice. The bugsare ugly and I do not choose to waste ink or my time on them. There are lots of heavy, dark linesand blackened in areas. There are some designs with backgrounds and they tend to be the butterfliesrather than the ugly bugs.
