So far, this has been the worst textbook I have ever been assigned. During the first week of class we were assigned the first three chapters to read. These chapters alone totaled 94 pages filled with paragraphs from the header to the footer. I literally fell asleep 3 times trying to get through the first ten pages. The reviewer who described this book as pedantic and needlessly technical said it best. It seems like every single sentence in every single paragraph on every single page is packed with information to the point that every paragraph has to be reread two or three times just to understand what it is talking about. This makes the already interminable book seem to be 5x longer. If I didn't need these credit hours I would drop the whole class just because of this textbook, it's that bad.

This is probably the least interesting book you'll ever read. I was required to buy it for medical school. I couldn't make through the first twenty pages awake. The material presented is written in needlessly technical and pedantic language. While it succeeds in offering a theoretical discussion of ethics (especially it's history), the early pages don't do a good job at substantiating them with applicable examples. I hope the rest of the book gets better, because at this rate, I don't know how I'm gonna glean anything from it.

Plain enough, just like every other school book. Unless your class is based around the book, not worth the buy. A couple of my teachers had a chapter or two published in the book, that's the only reason we had to get it.

This is the worst textbook I have ever had the misfortune of reading. The author clearly has no idea how to relay information in a way that can be interpreted and understood with the smallest degree of ease. Furthermore the text is about as bland as eating a box of Styrofoam packing peanuts. Good luck to anyone who has to read this terrible book.

This book is boring and horrible. It is too long and is only needed for the class. I would not suggest this book....

it the kindle version, not very user friendly for my taste.

School has not started as yet but I know it will be fine.

The most boring book that you have ever read.............. I purchased this book for my class. I do not why the instructor chose this book. This book make you sleep.
