I purchased this book to supplement my capstone clinical in critical care and I thought I was purchasing a book that would streamline and condense information I had not received in my other didactic nursing courses. I was wrong. This book seemed like the publisher had just copied and pasted information from their medical surgical textbook. There were a couple items of new information, but I was not impressed with this book considering the price I paid. I would recommend if you want a cut and dry, down to business critical care nursing book to purchase Critical Care Nursing Made Incredibly Easy.

Very fast shipping! This book was required for one of my Med-Surg courses. It's easy to understand, and it is a great complimentary book to my other Med-Surg books. It gives you main points with no fluff!

Lives up to its name. It teaches Priorities that nurses that are novices or veterans need to know to care for critically ill patients. Easy reading and retention of knowledge is enhanced with its presentation.

I gave this five stars because it is an excellent book for nursing school, and would be a handy manual to keep when working as a registered nurse, especially in critical care. The detail of complex disease processes is easy to follow, and care plan examples are dispersed throughout the book. I don't know if I can say I "love" any text that I have to use for school, but it is definitely a great learning and reference tool.

I only used this book because my school required it. This book is terrible. There is too much extra information and it's hard to comprehend. I would not recommend it to anyone and any school using it needs to stop. POOR STUDENTS!

I used this in nursing school 3 years ago. Still one of my fav books from that time. I still have it just in case I want to look something up

Required for nursing school, but a pretty decent read overall. Goes into good (and understandable) detail on a number of disease processes.

This text is broken up into readable chunks with features on pharmacological measures and applicable nursing diagnoses for each system.
