This text is a really good resource for basic concepts of palliative care/end of life. The chapters are SUPER short (sometimes only one page!) It has some really good Evidenced-based practice recommendations (hence the title). I do recommend this text for those who are entering the palliative care field or who are in school learning about this topic.
This is one of the best resources for people trying to make the best decisions when it comes to palliative care. It's practical advice, based on evidence and provides clear clinical examples. Good for practitioners and even lay people dealing with the concerns that arise in palliative care.
I seriously recommend for anyone doing palliative or hospice care work! All medical disciplines will learn from this resource. Good price too!

A great, well written, well edited book. The index is solid in it and the information in the book is backed up with easily accessible references. I would recommend this to anyone interested in palliative medicine - it's a great all around reference book for the health care professional.
