I am a fifth year neurosurgery resident in Brazil and during all my hard training i waited to purchase the new edition of this brochure. Since my first rotation program i have bought a lot of different neurosurgical books, and i can assert that this sixth edition of the Youmans Neurological Surgery can supplant all of them.

This is a classic text in Neurosurgery and this book justifies its reputation. A comprehensive volume set with very quality information. The format is logical and is easy to read, though it is dense (as expected).Highly recommended for anyone serious about the field...a must have for the shelf!
