Like all products in this series, the illustrations are amazingly good. The actual diagnostic images are usually quite helpful. Some of the barium images are not up to the quality found in a book by Laufer and Levine. Of course the authors here are CT/MR mavens. My one complaint is that the book is not as encyclopedic as I had hoped. A few topics are left out or inconveniently positioned. One nice feature is the attached code on the inside front cover that allows you to access the book contents online. A few points about that. There are more images online, though for some reason not as many as you'd think. For example, a topic in the book may have 8 images, while online it appears there are 20 images, but as you navigate through the 20 images, you find several are duplicates of one another, though with slightly different legends. Another aspect of the online version: You can right click and one option is to send a note to the publisher. Since there are several typographical errors and an occasional factual error found, it's nice to be able to give feedback since, of course, the online version can be updated, "fixed", in short order. They even send you an email indicating they've received your note and have their team looking into it.The book combines GI and GU, a growing trend since the imaging modalities, once separate (UGI, IVP) are now identical (CT/US/MRI). The GU section is not an extensive as the GI section, and includes only male genitalia diseases. If you want info on imaging female genitalia diseases, you need to buy their OB and Gyn books. I guess that's fair. (Though keep in mind if you're studying for MOC, if you choose the GU module, female gyn is fair game.)The books--the entire Amirsys series--are very expensive. They are high quality production wise and, as I noted above, the illustrations are fantastic, and highly informative. I personally think, though, their price/value ratio is somewhat too high.

precious referral book for the body imaging subspeciality, contain all needed information in well organised way.i like the tables and images.
