Even as a therapist who has been in the business for over 17 years, this guide is a great reference for those things we may not use very often. I can imagine this would be invaluable for an RT student.
If you are just starting out in RT this is a necessity!much better than Dana Oakes! I wish I had purchased this book first!
Awesome book, all you need to know as a respiratory therapist is at your fingertips. Very well structured chapters, compact and detailed info on each topic, with images, graphics, tables, you name it... Only "downside" is that the spiral holding the pages together is a bit bulky, so it takes more space in a small pocket. However, my rating is still five stars! A must have book!
I have this PDQ in print and I love it, BUT.. The Kindle version is not good. Many of the important charts are not big enough to read. You can't adjust the font on the charts like you can on the reading pages. It's of no use to me if I can't even read it. I suggest getting the book, it's great!
This is great little guide that is small enough to fit in your pocket. It has all the important formulas and definitions as well as medications and blood gas interpretations. I would definately recommend this to any respiratory professional
I got this one on reccomendation of one of my proffessors. The main difference between this and the other one I was looking at, is the paper quality. THe other one I was looking at was a similar price, but had a but more info. I may end up, down the road getting the other one as well.
THis book comes in handy a lot!!! I love it....the price too. My bookstore wanted 47.00 for the same exact one. The only thing is I wish the type was alittle bit bigger and there was places to take notes on!
This is very easy to use and I have been able to get the basic information needed about something in a hurry. I think that it is a good quick easy to use guild.
