I had to buy this for one of my classes during the first semester of my doctorate program in audiology. It's been a great resource since and I have been able to cite in multiple papers or to point me in the right direction on a topic. Of the audiology books that I own currently, this is in the top two or three.

As you learn in AuD school, it's referred to as, "The Bible." I used this to study for the Praxis and my comps, as it wasn't required reading for the rest of my course load. I refer to it quite often still. "Deskbook" would be a more reasonable name given it's size, but doesn't have the same ring to it.

This is a great desk reference for audiology! Very easy to read and touches on most clinical topics ( I really can't think of anything it doesn't cover). It has been a big help in grad school and I'm sure it'll be a good reference during my professional career.

This book is exactly what I needed for my audiology course. It was recommended for its in depth descriptions of audiological testing. The book arrived in perfect condition within days of ordering.

This is a must have book for audiology students. It is the audiology bible, containg everything future audiologists need to know.Langauge can be quite clinical so if your not used to that type of colloquialism, accompany with an introduction to audiology book and your set.

This book offers a vast wealth of knowledge from well respected members in the field. If I am curious about something, this is the first book I reach for. I would highly recommend it to all AuD. students!

Had this as a college student in 1986, and just bought it again as a reference in my audiology practice. No audiologist should be without!

How can one go past this stalwart of audiology texts. I refer to it often.
