I selected this text for my students in the Nuclear Medicine program and found it to be a great fit for preparing them for the boards as well as a suitable reference for thier careers in Nuclear Medicine.
I have found this book is very helpful. The content is comprehensive but simple. It is a handy tool for people working in the field of nuclear medicine.
I ORIGINALLY PURCHASED THIS WHEN I WAS A NUC MED STUDENT BECAUSE THE HOSPITAL WHERE I WORKED HAD A COPY AND I ALREADY KNEW THAT IT WAS GREAT. IT WAS A GREAT COMPLEMENT TO THE BOOKS THAT I HAD TO BUY FOR SCHOOL. IT IS VERY WELL ORGANIZED AND EASY TO USE.
One of the only ways to get this information to the public is to write a review of sorts. As one might suspect, I gave it a 5 star rating. Lippincott and I have recently updated the contents of the second edition as of January 2013. It now contains the changed information concerning Medical Events from the old Misadministrations. We also included updates, changes, additions and new information to many chapters throughout the book. My hopes have always been that the book helps students, techs, and physicians during the course of their studies and practice. To this end, I endeavor to keep it as current as possible. Great book for any student pr technologist in the nuclear medicine field. It is precise and to the point with material regarding the procedure protocals for any study. A great aid for students who are required to do case studies. Has all the pertinent information required, along with other references you can use at the end of each chapter.
This book is like our Nuclear Medicine Bible at our nuclear pharmacy. Our old outdated version from 2000 was falling apart and was quite outdated. This new version is great!
