This is a really good book and very easy to understand. The chapters aren't too lengthy, just long enough to give the important aspects of each respiratory disease. I purchased this for my respiratory pathophysiology class and it covers everything from the etiology, manifestations, symptoms, lab workups, and treatment of all of the major respiratory diseases and syndromes. I highly recommend this book to those who are wanting or needing to know more about respiratory pathophysiology.

You are buying this book because you're probably an RN/RT student. Doesn't matter how I review this book, you have to buy it for school anyways. Regardless, here's my opinion. It's an easy ready... easier than Beachy or Mosby. I feel like it's a bit vague when giving information... doesn't feel text-bookie... feels light on information. Read the case studies, it's all about the case studies in this book. Every chapter is 50% info, 50% case study. It's an interesting layout too. What I mean is... you'll read a scenario, be given questions, then right next to the question is the answer. Nope, don't have to look in the back of the book or log into some publisher website. You're given this large... bookmark thing... that you use to cover the answers if you want to figure it out for yourself before reading the correct answer. It's interesting. Enjoy and good luck with school.

Whatever you're looking for is here. This is a great book, well-organized, easy to search, has very interesting images, I think it's a must for every Respiratory Care Practitioner, I'm going to keep it as a reference forever.

This is the best textbook I have had for school, EVER. It is so well organized, to the point, and easy to read. I actually found it enjoyable to read this book and felt like I could understand everything clearly. I only wish my Mosby's Equipment book had more in common with this one...

Good condition, I just wanted it to read and high light in myself for a class I am taking, so it is what I was expecting. I imagine a newer edition should be coming out soon. It is a great reference for the Respiratory diseases, with some good case studies for relating them to reality.

I am very pleased with this book. It provides well written and easily understandable information for the Respiratory Therapy student. My classmates and I have had nothing but praise for it.

This book gives a great rundown on respiratory diseases. Not only does it cover specialized areas but it gives you the CXR, ABG, and pulmonary function norms for each specific disease.

I like the style of this book, it's simple but informative and really helps we understand the information. would recommend
