Very disappointed. I order most of my textbooks through Kindle for the ease of transporting my books on a thin, light devise. It usually works out great. This one, not so much. The charts and boxes (full of very important information) are fuzzy at best. In addition, the access code to the online site that instructors use with this book is not included. I now must buy a hard copy of this book at the same cogs to get the access code and to be able to read the boxes.
Being a broke college student, this was perfect. The price in the bookstore was almost 150 and I got a perfectly new book for this low price! Love getting my books from compared to the bookstore at my college.
This is not a good pharmacology book. This book has clearly skipped putting in very VERY important information from the previous edition to this current edition. I would not recommend this book, there are so many pharmacology books that are great in explaining nursing implications, pathophysiology, and pharmacology-but not this book.
I love this book! I took Pharmacology last summer - ugh. This book would have made all the difference in the world - it is so much easier to read, explained in a much more clear and concise manner. I wish I would have had it last summer!
I rented from and got a brand spanking new rental still in the shrink wrap! Not to shabby. So far the book is as good as any pharm book gets. I will try to update this after the class is finished to give a more full feedback! :)
Does this book come up with a Prep U code? It does not say anything about a Prep U Code. or Do I have to buy a code by it self?
This was a requirement for my nursing classes. The book is easy to read, is laid out in an easy to follow format and contains lots of information that is very helpful when caring for patients.
I am very pleased with this purchase. I wasn't too sure about purchasing it at first but I am glad that I took a chance and bought it. I am not unhappy at all
