Good book but not different from the previous 7th edition, the author should have at least given new practice questions instead of just jumbling the ones from last edition. Only minor corrections and Obamacare is added, but as we all know that obamacare is still a mess so they are not gonna ask any questions on it.

Kinda expensive for not a huge book, but a great federal law refresher for the MPJE (all I studied was this book and my state lawbook and I did well). It has a ton of practice questions- questions after every section and then almost 300 at the end of the book!

This is a great foundation book. Would recommend it as a reference book for your federal law bookshelf. Keep in mind, however, that the MPJE law exam is more comprehensive/complex than the 300 questions at the back of the book. As another reviewer stated, there are numerous scenarios that require an in depth knowledge of the material covered.

I bought this book to help me with the federal portion of the Colorado law exam. The book's practice questions and practice test were way too easy and basically just multiple choice reading comprehension questions. Unfortunately the actual test had hypothetical scenarios that required interpretation of the laws, not just knowing what the law does or doesn't say, or which law(s) apply or don't apply. I gave it two stars because I still found it helpful at teaching the basics and summarizing the law, I just wish it went further.

Extremely helpful book. Highly recommend it for anyone taking the MPJE. Definitely makes the difference in whether or not one passes. Easy read, clear and concise information. The questions were also very helpful in helping me prepare and test my knowledge of the information. Keeping this handy for any future exams.

All you need for federal law!!!! Neatly and clearly written, easy to read. It helped me with the state too. Cuz I couldn't find enough material on state law so the federal law book was handy. I highly recommend this book. Well worth the price.I took the Oregon mpje-- and used the website of board of pharmacy and school notes to help me for the stat exam. Good luck!!!

Very concise and reads easily. You won't be dissapointed if this is the only study guide you use for Federal Law asit relates to MPJE exam. You will still need to download or buy material for the state law questions per your state.

This book is fantastic for breaking down federal pharmacy law in a simple, comprehensible manner. Planning to use it as a major tool for MPJE. Should provide a good basis for the three different MPJEs I'll be taking.
