This is an excellent book for learning the stock trading strategy, I have been trading stock since the 90. It is not easy task to do for a living.I just coming back for trading last year, but it's not very often, only when see the opportunity, maybe 7~8 trades per year, only for short term holding. I can make some extra income for the early retire years. Thank you Matthew!
Good read. Easy to follow strategy. So simple but it works. You will do much better over the long if you limit you choices to new 52 week highs in stocks that have been trending up. Avoid the losing strategies of bottom picking and averaging down on underperfomers and you will find yourself in the win column more often. Good luck to all.
There is so much rubbish written about trading and investing, much of it by authors who have never made a trade or investment in their life. Rocket Stocks is a gem among pyrites.I have traded for even longer than the author, and this little booklet is superb. There are no typos or grammatical errors which in itself is a rarity. The advice is concise, precise and well delivered. The author talks the language of the markets, and it is easy to recognize an experienced and successful trader. He has an effortless way of communicating, and even newbies will gain much from his text.I have been reading books for beginner traders and investors just to see what is available. In the main, they have been terrible and written by people who are either academics, frauds or illiterates, or all of the preceding. I don't want to rave, but Rocket Stocks is like a breath of fresh air.For those who want to take the next steps I'd like to suggest William O'Neil's How to Make Money in Stocks, and Trade Like an O'Neil Disciple by Morales & Kacher.
Matthew R Kratter has done it again!Succinct, focused, and relevant. His books are like a mini college in stock investing and Rocket Stocks is another informative course.Easy too read, well communicated and fun.I love reading his books.
Matthew Kratter has written a great little book explaining the dynamics of momentum stocks and the best ways to trade and profit from IPOs. This short read gets to the point with no wasted words and can be read in one sitting. He explains the dynamics of supply and demand, market cap, breakouts, and moving averages to quantify some of the dynamics of stocks that double and triple in price in a short time or more. I enjoyed this quick read. The funny thing is that I also had written the outline for a book titled “Rocket Stocks” and I had already written the outline and first chapter. My book was going to be more about longer term stocks that go up for years. This book is about the stocks that rocket up in a short period of time. So there is still room for my book about rocket stocks but now I have to think of a different name now.
Concise and well written. This book has some very good ideas for those who want to find those stocks that make big moves in short time spans. Personally, I have been studying these types of stocks for the last few years, and the ideas put forth in this book pretty much confirm what I have found, plus a few additional insights. For less than the price of a cheeseburger, you can't go wrong. Highly recommend.
Very good book. Well written with a highly credible game plan. Now I just have to put it into action. I might also add that the author responded back promptly regarding a trade related idea I have and which I plan on following thru on. Highly recommended. I may also consider buying other of his books and will give feedback on those if I do. A+
This book is a well written concise momentum strategy with specific rules and recommended optional conditions to increase the probability of a successful trade. Exit options are offered for both short term and longer term trades. The author is available for questions by e-mail. I have taken advantage of this offer and the author promptly responded to my questions. I highly recommend this book.
