Clinicians, students, and individuals with an interest in pediatric palliative care, from any discipline, will find this novel and comprehensive text to be a welcome addition to the existing literature in this field. It arrives as a welcome breath of fresh air as it gracefully incorporates the voices of authors from an array of disciplines, exemplifying the essential interdisciplinary approach to the study and implementation of pediatric palliative care. The text is sensible and readable, as well as beautifully illustrated. As an instructor in pediatric palliative care, I find this to be an invaluable resource not only to enhance my own knowledge but for my Advanced Practice Nursing students as they learn the true art of delivering effective pediatric palliative care to children, young adults, and their families. The interdisciplinary voices blended in each chapter, as well as the editorial work of three of the most well known, loved, and respected figures in the world of pediatric palliative care, make this an indispensible text that you'll not only want to have readily available on your reference shelf, but also on your nightstand, as it truly is a pleasure to read. I highly recommend the Textbook of Interdisciplinary Pediatric Palliative Care.

Best review book in the field. It was recommended by my main Palliative doctor in my section. If only I could find the time to read it all.

I especially like the "Principles" and the "Symptoms" sections of this book. It is laid out to learn both the principle behind palliative care and to be used as a hands on tool. This book will be useful to a lot of health care providers who deal with sick children and end of life issues. This book was badly needed. Highly recommended.

I used this book the first week I received it, using current state of the art information when attending an interdisciplinary meeting discussing a palliative care patient. The physician then proceeded to order some of the recommendations I found in the text.

Excellent summary of latest clinical and research findings in area of pediatric palliative care. Would recommend it to multidisciplinary caregivers in the field.
