Professor Werner Platzer was teaching Anatomy for a very long time using same sentences and same boring jokes in his class every year! Regardless of his outdated style, Prof. Platzer does a great job in explaining what you need to know as a part of the Anatomy course in med school. If you have some undergrad background, you can easily use this book in med school. However, it might be a little to compact if you have not taken some upper division courses in your undergrad. In addition, this book is not clinically oriented and perhaps not a good choice for the steps!

I have recently purchased the latest edition to replace my well-thumbed earlier edition. Platzer boxes far above its weight. Every page contains a gem. And it fits in your pocket! The new colour additions are great and the price... It's a must.

This book is different in that the pictures depict unusual cross sections and views of common structures. This is a book for the advanced practitioner who wants more, or the student who wants to avoid the "2-D pitfalls" that come from learning anatomy from a textbook.

This is the book to have when you are in anyway keeping in touch with human body. The earlier versions had lack of infomation and they were much harder to use. This has more colourfull pages and more pages than the earlier versions and it is easy to carry cos' it's so small. I'm recomending you to buy it if you're in any need of information about human struckture.

paper version is much better. I bought this is kindle version its a bit complicated finding topics. Have it now in paper version much more better with good easy understandable pictures

WHAT????? someone can almost buy a used car with this money. Are you mad ?

Definitely recommend this book as an excellent reference text. Compact yet full of great information. Would definitely recommend to any manual practitioner.

it helps me understand some medical terms any time when I am confused during practice because it is small and easy put in my pocket
